Have a place for everything and everything in its place

Start the new school year with sound organizational habits. Have a place for everything and everything in its place. When your child arrives home from school, have her put her backpack in the same spot every day and replace it in that spot when she is done with her homework. Do the same with boots, coats, lunchbox and anything else she will need for the next school day. It is a lot harder to lose or forget something if you don’t have to go searching for it!
