Success Doesn’t Happen by Accident

Yesterday, the United States Women’s National Team won its fourth World Cup (and second in a row — no easy feat!). These talented women set a goal many months ago and developed plans to achieve it — a wonderful lesson for students of all ages. Success doesn’t happen by accident. It requires planning, initiation, hard work, teamwork, organization, flexibility, and follow-through. One might say it takes the entire range of executive function skills and this team executed to near perfection. Congratulations to the United States Women’s National Team — an inspirational achievement and a lesson in perseverance for us all! #USWNT
