Create a Nightly Homework Agenda

Most students do their homework in random order and without a plan. Teach your child how to create an agenda at the start of his homework routine each day. An agenda will aid him in planning and managing his workload for the evening, and will give him a sense of ownership over the process of working through it. It will also help him learn how to prioritize assignments and estimate time on task. Think of an agenda as a roadmap: it’s a lot easier to get from point A to point B if you have a clear plan of how to get there.
