Handing in assignments on time

An assignment isn’t truly finished until it’s handed in. With final papers and projects due soon, help your child cover all her bases. When your child completes an assignment, have her print it out and also email a copy to her school or personal email account (and even to the teacher’s email address if that is appropriate). While the goal is to get your child to remember to turn things in on time without a safety net, since this is likely to be a work-in-progress it is better to be safe than sorry, at least initially. By making sure that she can access her work in a number of ways, your child is minimizing the likelihood that she will forget to turn it in, or won’t have it available when she needs it.
